Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management and Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship started organizing education for empoloyees of  Croatian Regional Development Agencies interested in improvement of their knowlege regarding Cluster Management. Valentin Gadža, from ZACORDA participated in Cluster workshops in Vukovar and in Pula in February 2009. where he was participated in cluster facilitator training. 

Lovro Bencevic, from ZACORDA was one of the experts who presented basic information about SAPARD during a presentation held in Zagreb on the January, 22 in 2009. More than 100 people (potential SAPARD useres) were present at the presentation where they had an opportunity to learn  how to apply for and use of the SAPARD funds.

Managing director of ZACORDA, Mr. Hercek and Expert Assistant for Economy Development Ms. Katarina Drozdek participated in educational seminar on rural tourism best practices held in Istria from on 27th. and  28th. November in 2008. The seminar was organized by Zagreb County.

ZACORDA together with USAID organized workshops for wine producers from City Jastrebarsko in January 19th, and 20th in 2008.g.

Director of ZACORDA, Mr. Zlatko Herček attended the Second  International Conferece on Clusters in Opatija, Croatia. The conference was organizesed on April, 28th 2008. by The Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship, under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The aim of the conference was to exchange experiences on cluster development policies, networking of the already existing and establishment of new clusters in the area of South Eastern Europe.

ZACORDA, as one of the partner in the project “e-education in entrepreneurship” created by the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship, was present at a meeting in The Ministry on the April, 23th, 2008. during which project’s progress was discussed.

Gorana Rabatić from Zagreb County presented IPA programme on the April, 23th in 2008.g. to the head of the departments in Zagreb County.

First workshop on cultural tourism in Croatia was held in Vrbovec, on April 4th, 2008. All the project partners, both from Flanders and Croatia, were present. The presentation was held by representatives of WES, Ms. Gunbst and Ms. Bauters. The goal of the workshop was to present  cultural heritage of Croatia to Belgian partners and to learn more about cultural toursim in Belgium.

Three Croatian development agencies (AZRA, DUNEA and ZACORDA), together with City of Rijeka and WES (Belgian company which has been active in consultancy in toursm and recreation for more than 40 years) created a project “Cultural tourism in Croatian regions” which is being co-financed by Flemish goverment. As a part of the project Belgian partners visited on the 2nd April 2008. Varazdin and Zagreb County.
